Energizing Lebanese Innovation, Empowering Visionaries, and Forging a Stronger Tomorrow.
ABOUT THE ASHER FOUNDATION
The Asher Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship was founded under the fervent belief that good ideas, when nurtured, can transform business sectors, communities, nations, and our world. Many of these ideas will come from our youth. We want Lebanese youth to receive the education, support and mentoring to become the leading entrepreneurs of their generation.
The Foundation's goals are to:
-
Ensure that quality educational programs are accessible to Lebanese youth;
-
Provide certificate programs and mentoring to student entrepreneurs at no cost;
-
Make seed funding available for startups; and
-
Offer access to a worldwide network of entrepreneurs and investors.
Our flagship program is the Asher Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, In its sixth year and housed at the University of the Holy Spirit in Kaslik (USEK), the center was formed to encourage the young people of Lebanon to develop their ideas into startup companies with an aim to provide the support and investments to grow businesses in Lebanon so that youth can build prosperous lives in our home country.

THE LEBANESE ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET

The Lebanese entrepreneurial mindset is recognized globally. Lebanon’s strategic location, the diversity of its citizens, and its entrepreneurial spirit have long made it a center of trade and culture and a bridge between Europe and the Middle East. The Lebanese diaspora is known to outperform the rest in business and academic achievements. We'd love to hear your entrepreneurial journey.

ASHER CENTER FOR INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The Asher Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACIE) has supported 40+ startups, hosted workshops and training sessions, participated in international competitions, and partnered with universities and corporations worldwide. ACIE places great emphasis on building and developing an entrepreneurial mindset, validating skills, and continuously strengthening the creative capacity of aspiring entrepreneurs. By fostering robust and innovative ideas, ACIE ensures they can be effectively transformed into sustainable and financially viable ventures, making a lasting impact on Lebanon's economy and society while empowering the country's youth to emerge as influential community leaders.
Giving to the Asher Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACIE) means you are directly helping to build on the progress we have made in providing students with the knowledge and skills to create businesses that contribute to the economic development of Lebanon.
Thank you for your interest in giving to the Asher Foundation. Only through caring people like you can we keep the promise of a bright future for Lebanon by fostering the entrepreneurial mindset of its people. When you donate to the Asher Foundation, you are contributing to the success of the next generation of Lebanese entrepreneurs and innovators.

TONY ASHER
Founder
Anthony J. Asher not only believes that one is never too young to take an idea, make it a business and change a community. He is also living proof of it. As a law student in his 20s, he and his father founded Guardian Title and Guaranty Agency and grew it into one of the largest title companies in Cleveland, Ohio. He went on to form Weston, Inc. an industrial real estate development firm that is one of the largest in northeast Ohio. Thus, the life of a serial entrepreneur, whose company, now under the leadership of his children, continues to change the landscape of and spur economic development in the community in which Asher grew up.
